In connection with the Africa at the Centre of Global Mental Health Conference 2027, partnership development activities are underway to strengthen dialogue between South Korean and Ugandan stakeholders in mental health, public health, and related fields.
The initiative explores opportunities for institutional engagement, academic cooperation, professional exchange, research collaboration, and resource mobilisation.
Its objective is to encourage meaningful participation in the conference and identify possibilities for sustained collaboration beyond the event.

Korea Partnerships Lead — ACGMHC 2027
Appointed to lead Korean partnership development for ACGMHC 2027, Jueun Ahn works in coordination with conference convenor Professor Roscoe Kasujja of Makerere University.
Her role includes identifying and engaging potential partners across South Korea’s academic, healthcare, public, private, and non-profit sectors.
She also explores opportunities for sponsorship, funding, and institutional participation.
This work aims to facilitate dialogue, strengthen engagement, and identify pathways for longer-term cooperation.
